Notes
-  Meter: 4/4
-  Transcribed by Alan Jabbour, from a performance by Henry Reed.
-  Key: G
-  Strains: 2 (low-high, 4-4)
-  Compass: 16
-  Phrase Structure: ABAC QRQS (abcd abce qrst qrue)
-  Title change: The title appears on the transcription as "Unnamed--called a polka."
-  Rendition: 1r-2r-1r-2r-1
-  Stylistic features: Short bowstrokes or simple paired slurs.
-  Related Tune(s): This tune was later played as a schottische. See "Schottische in G."
-  Handwritten: Tape missed part of 1st time thru, 2nd time thru complete (transcribed), then ends w. 1st str. unrepeated, w. special ending.
-  No kin of this tune have been located, though the three eighth notes ending each strain remind one of the hornpipes and clogs of the nineteenth century. Henry Reed played it twice. This performance, called a polka and played at a fairly lively pace, came first; the second time (AFS 13033b09) he called it a schottische, made the pace slower, and used more of a dotted-eighth-and-sixteenth rhythm.
