Biographies Aaron Kramer (1921-1997)

Aaron Kramer was born in 1921 in Brooklyn, New York. He wrote or translated over a dozen volumes of poetry, including Seven Poets in Search of an Answer (1944), The Poetry of Heinrich Heine (1948), and The Burning Bush: Poems and Other Writings 1940-1980 (1983). Kramer was a professor emeritus at Dowling College in Long Island, where he was still teaching at the time of his death in 1997.
