Biographies Jane Kenyon (1947-1995)

Jane Kenyon was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1947. She is the author of four books of poetry, including From Room to Room (1978) and Constance (1993), as well as a translation of work by the Russian poet Anna Akhmatova. Kenyon was honored with the PEN/Voelcker Award for Poetry in 1994, and was Poet Laureate of New Hampshire when she died in 1995.
