Biographies Tom Sleigh (1953-)

Tom Sleigh was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas, in 1953. He is the author of eight poetry collections, including Space Walk (2007), winner of the Kingsley Tufts Award, and Station Zed (2015). He has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, and is a recipient of the Academy Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Sleigh teaches in the MFA program at Hunter College in New York.
