Biographies Stephen Dunn (1939-)

Stephen Dunn was born in New York City in 1939. He is the author of 15 poetry collections, including Local Time (1986), winner of the National Poetry Series; Different Hours (2000), winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry; and Here and Now (2011). His other honors include an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award for Literature and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation. Dunn is currently Distinguished Professor of Creative Writing at Richard Stockton College and lives in Frostburg, Maryland.
